Are there special safety instructions for newborns and babies under 4 months?Updated 6 days ago

Keep your baby in the carrier in view at all times and make sure all straps are properly adjusted. The carrier is intended for one baby only. If your baby was born prematurely, has a low birth weight, or has health specialities, please consult your doctor before using it.

As long as your baby cannot hold its head up securely on its own, you must support it well. The carrier is not suitable for sports, so please do not use it while running, cycling, swimming, skiing, or similar activities. Also watch out for everyday hazards, such as hot drinks or other heat sources. Your own movement and that of your baby can affect your balance.

Check the carrier before each use for wear or damage and keep it out of reach of children when not in use. Flybaby assumes no liability for improper use.Make sure the leg openings fit well and all fastenings are securely closed. Check before each use that your baby is seated safely. Be especially careful when walking or bending forward — it is better to go down on your knees rather than bending at the waist. When your baby becomes more active, the risk of it slipping out also increases.

Babies under 4 months can suffocate if their face is pressed too close to your body. Therefore, do not carry your baby too tightly; leave enough space for head movements and always ensure that the nose and mouth remain free.
